Kelly’s Brewing Company is everything you want in a local spot—energy, community, and great beer all rolled into one. The vibe on a Thursday night was incredible, with karaoke in full swing, a pool tournament going, games on the TVs, and a solid food truck outside. It felt like the kind of place where everyone’s just having a great time. The beer absolutely delivers too—Kelly’s Light is a fantastic, easy-drinking lager that hits the spot. If you’re in Morgan Hill, this is a must-visit. Kelly’s is doing it right.

We stopped by to watch the World Cup and tried the Moving Nitro Porter. it was smooth, creamy, and easy to drink, with light notes of coffee and chocolate. A solid porter and a great beer!

Let me first say that this one star review is solely based on our experience with the bartender. The establishment is nice, clean, great, long bar, and the outdoor area is especially nice. Now to get to the reason for one star. This was our first time there even though we have lived in Morgan Hill for many years before Kellys opened. Started out at Bubbles and Brew (also our first time) and had a wonderful time. Band was great, service was exceptional! We were outside to listen to the band and had a very friendly, attentive, staff who took the time to "explain" the beers flavor profile. I had told him I'm an 805 Blonde lover and he recommended two beers and gave me a taste of both so I could choose. We then decided to give Kelly's a try. Wow, what a different vibe and not in the positive column!! Stood in line at the bar to order (only one person ahead of us) while in line I was reading the beer menu. One particular beer interested me because it was called Houseboat beer and underneath that it said "a beer you can drink all day on a houseboat" Well that tells me nothing so I asked the bar guy (wore a baseball cap backwards, big guy, dark hair) I asked him about that beer. His answer "it's a beer you can drink all day on a houseboat" really? No, it's a blonde ale, IPA, Lager, Pilsner, nothing. I then said that as a family we rented houseboats on Lake Shasta for 15 years. He says, "well then you know what it's like" Really? Gee thanks dude for absolutely nothing. So I ordered a blonde light and went outside. This guy has absolutely no customer service, no personality, looks and acted like he hated being there. I won't get into the second encounter when my son went in to get another round because this review is already long. This happened on 6/20/26 @ 7:00 pm, so Mr. Kelly you know exactly who I'm referring to. This employee left such a negative experience in your establishment so much so we will never return nor buy any of your beer at function in town. I know this review will be a "who cares." If anyone is looking for fun, exceptional service, dancing, and good beer, go to Bubbles and Brew. They even have food! BTW, the band that played was not very good at all and everyone looked bored.
