EXCELLENT portions. The salad was so fresh and delicious. I had the blackberry, blue cheese, with candied pecan salad. It also included large wedge tomatoes, large cucumber slices and the sweetest slices of sweet yellow bell peppers. Yummy! This salad was huge. My hubby ordered the combo plate that included 2 meats ( chose tri tip and brisket) with 2 sides (coleslaw and potato salad). Both meats were extremely tender and flavorful. The sides were proper positions. This plate alone could have feed 2 people with average appetites. We spent $58 total. We have spent $30 @ a fast food joint as a comparison. This option is far more healthy and affordable. This BBQ is well worth it in every way.

I’m a huge fan of Trail Dust BBQ’s smoked chicken and hot links — tasty and cooked to perfection. I go to Trail dust at least once a week, which speaks for the quality and taste. The Firebird chicken sandwich with mac and cheese is my go to order. My only constructive feedback is on their red meats. The tri-tip, brisket, and burnt ends are smoked well, but they’re lacking flavor. They need to do something about adding seasoning/marinating/dry rubs on their red meat. Their burnt ends were disappointing — they were heavily drenched in a very sweet BBQ sauce, and for the price, I found them a bit too fatty. Everything else hits: fantastic rotating desserts. The sides absolutely shine — garlic bread, potato salad, mac and cheese, and BBQ beans are all excellent. And having beer on tap is something I’m especially looking forward to enjoying during the summer months. This place is truly a gem in Morgan Hill / the South Bay, and I genuinely want this place to thrive! With better seasoning on the red meats, this place could easily be top-tier BBQ in the South Bay.

Well this is another place we hit on are road trip and I must say it was some great tasting barbecue i ordered the tri tip pulled pork mac&cheese loaded beans and a slice of cornbread 😋 my wife ordered a ribby sandwich also delicious good service great food a must if you out in that area.
