Stopped by today. The chocolate flavors are more geared for adults. Our two young kids thought each one tasted a little bitter. Not our cup of tea, but they look great, 4 stars for that. The main reason for the three stars was the dismissive and sarcastic response from the clerk when I mentioned that one of the doors swung back unexpectedly on us due to a missing door closer. I only mentioned it as a quick heads-up for the next customers.

If you are around this area, you MUST stop by! I don't like chocolate much, but once and a while when the craving hits, dark is my preference. It's rare that dark chocolate gets its appreciation and here is a store dedicated to it! We were positively blown away by the truffles we tried: the strawberry/peach/ginger/oolong, the sesame/honey/mint, and the lavender. Shout-out to David who warmly welcomed us into his shop and gave us a tour... Can't wait to return and try more!

We happened upon Sonoma Chocolatiers while strolling through the area and browsing the local shops, and what a delightful discovery it turned out to be. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, whose genuine kindness and passion for the craft were immediately evident. They took the time to share the story behind their company and thoughtfully guided us through some of their offerings, which made the experience feel personal and memorable. We had the pleasure of sampling their Bar of the Week, which was absolutely delicious and showcased the incredible quality and creativity behind their chocolates. We also purchased the candied lemon peel and the salted caramel—both of which were phenomenal. The candied lemon peel had the perfect balance of bright citrus and rich chocolate, while the salted caramel was smooth, decadent, and simply unforgettable. It’s clear that Sonoma Chocolatiers pours a tremendous amount of care, artistry, and love into every product they create. That dedication truly shines through in both the flavor and quality of their chocolates. If you’re in the area, this shop is an absolute must-visit for anyone who appreciates exceptional chocolate and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
