I'd never leave a review of a grocery store. But this store is scamming its customers by having expiring sales and not changing the tags. Several items that I want to go purchase said that they're on sale and then I get to the register and they're not on sale the stickers expired, but still out there on the products unacceptable.
Check your price at your checkout before paying. The stickers in the store are not accurate to what is on the shelf. San mateo's expensive enough , we don't need safeway , ripping us off. To the manager of the safeway , you need to actively be changing your tags.
I'm gonna write safeway , corporate and tell them about this , this is unacceptable.
You can't have sale prices listed on the shelves and then go to checkout.And there'll be a different price. What a waste of time I put all my stuff back...

I was shopping at the store around 8 pm they had a guy in the entrance hostage two lady’s empty he’s bags and not letting him go it was on Thursday the 8 I was scared to go to the check stand and pay they need proper training it very un secured for employes and customers .
