I visited Philz Coffee and ordered their signature hot mint coffee along with a fresh almond croissant. The experience opened with a lively yet smooth café atmosphere—fast-moving but still welcoming. The ordering process felt intentional and personal, with clear attention to crafting each drink rather than simply serving it. ⭐ Standout Item: Hot mint coffee — This was the highlight of the visit. Bold, aromatic, and refreshingly layered, it delivered a clean mint profile that blended seamlessly with the coffee base rather than overpowering it. The balance of warmth, freshness, and subtle sweetness made it both unique and memorable, easily the defining part of the experience. ◻️ Solid Pairing: Almond croissant — Fresh, lightly crisp on the outside, and soft inside with a pleasant almond sweetness. It complemented the coffee well without competing with its intensity, serving as a reliable and satisfying pastry choice. Philz is located and set back in a shopping center corner with plenty of free accessible parking in the adjoining lot in front. 1. Ordering in-person: upon entering Philz I walked forward towards the order counter in the back. A good variety of fresh pastries, other quick eats and beverages are also located and displayed there. “James”, a barista, took the time to kindly explain the coffee menu, and based on my taste at the time for a “regular coffee” he suggested: a (Hot) medium roast Mocha Tesora (drip) coffee: with notes of Dark chocolate, caramel, and cocoa, with medium cream and sugar. “Base level is light sweet.” 2. Ordering ahead: I recommend patrons begin their journey using the Philz comprehensive and user friendly app by quickly signing-up with a profile that you can also add your photo to. The app also includes an enticing and descriptive menu. The bonus is you can collect and redeem points on every app order. The payment process is easy, secure and quick after adding your debit/credit card. Wait time is within a few minutes, but can take longer during busy times. It’s worth a short wait for a hand crafted drip coffee. There was no line at the time of my order of 10:30am on Tuesday. 3. It’s interesting to observe the energetic lineup of barista’s crafting drinks, and they will say a friendly hello. 4. I live outside the area, and this was my 3rd visit to Philz over the course of a month after having been referred by my medical provider, and today was a spontaneous decision for a quick stop to go during my car-share trip return home. I picked-up my order of chocolate croissants at the order counter, and within a few minutes my coffee order was ready at the opposite barista coffee drink pick-up counter. Inside are a couple of wooden pew-like seats, and outdoor seating is table/umbrella. Philz merchandise is shelf displayed boldly and accessible, and includes Philz Coffee branded bagged coffee, tumblers and mugs. The Philz Coffee vibe includes 20-60 something ages, and is relaxed, laid-back, with a casual appeal, and coffeehouse music somewhat like what you would find on a city or village corner. Accessible entrance and restroom. I recommend enjoying Philz solo, as a couple, or with friends. See my photos included with my review.

I got a chai tea and it tasted like boiled water with essence of cardamom. At $5.80 that is ridiculous. The workers were all super nice, but I would go somewhere else for your drinks.
