Upon viewing the display case, the immediate visual takeaway is the relatively small scale of the pastries. However, any structural reservations disappear on impact: every item purchased demonstrated the precise, shattering crispness you expect from high-tier laminate work. The butter croissant is exceptional, delivering one of the most definitive shattering crusts I have encountered in the Bay Area. The crumb matrix is technically precise, and a clean, deep aromatic profile of quality butter is ever-present from the first bite. The Vanilla Flan is equally outstanding, showing a flawless balance between its crisp pastry shell and a silky, well-calibrated custard texture. While it is not the most expansive menu selection in the region, Moulin clearly prioritizes top-tier quality control over raw volume. Supported by friendly, efficient front-of-house service, this is a highly recommended stop if you are in the area.

This was a great find. You know it’s legit when there’s a line out the door and French butter available for $10. The staff is friendly - especially when they take the time to re-input my order to make sure my cups from home matched the coffee order. My latte was an elevated tasting experience given the beans they use. The egg sandwich with their baked bread buns was equally artisanal. The pastry and bread offerings are beyond the typical, which makes this place unique. Definitely for the foodie, coffee connoisseur or just a visitor who needs to understand what Bay Area/Napa is all about!

Moulin was very impressive. The breakfast sandwich is scrumptious as well as the raspberry pastry we tried. Mochas were perfect and not too sweet. The employees actually smiled and were friendly! The seating is mostly outdoors, so be aware of that if you want to eat there. Lovely place; highly recommend!
