DESCRIPTION:What: Bay Area Anarchist Book Fair\n\nWhen: Saturday October 3\, 2026 10am to 5:00pm\n\nWhere: The Humanist Hall\, Oakland 390 Twenty-seventh St. \n\n*Enter through the back next to 415 Twenty-eighth St.  \n\nFREE\n\nThe Bay Area Anarchist Book Fair is an annual event that brings together people interested and engaged in radical work to connect\,\nlearn\, and discuss through books and information tables\, workshops\, panel discussions\, skill sharing\, and more! Dozens of\npublishers\, micro-presses\, and community organizations. We seek to create an inclusive space to introduce new folks to anarchism\,\nfoster a productive dialogue between various political traditions as well as anarchists from different milieus\, and create an\nopportunity to dissect our movements’ strengths\, weaknesses\, strategies\, and tactics. This year we ponder the Analog: In an age of\nmass collapse and rising technofascism\, how can we create alternative technologies to further our goals? What strategies and\ntactics are at our disposal to fight big tech? And how can we meaningfully divest from mainstream technology?  \n\nThe event is free and wheelchair accessible.
