The schedule for Sunday\, September 20\, 2026\, includes Terce of the Divine Office in Gregorian Chant at 9:30 AM\, Congregational Chanting of the Latin Angelus with Carillon\, and a Fully Traditional Roman Catholic Latin Mass (Pre-Vatican II Roman Rite of 1950). The Catechism/Scripture/Sermon topic is "The Most Neglected of God's Virtues." This is the only fully traditional Roman Catholic Latin Mass (Pre Vatican II Roman Rite of 1950) and Divine Office in Gregorian Chant in the Traditional Roman Catholic Latin Rite\, continuously offered in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1992.\n\nThe Oratory is located in the heart of Fisherman's Wharf. Turn east off Embarcadero/Jefferson Street onto Taylor Street\, then left onto the Pier 45 access road. It is about one block down the access road\, one block northeast of the corner of Jefferson & Taylor Streets\, next to the bell tower. Free parking is available adjacent to the Oratory\, and there is wheelchair access.\n\nSt. John's Oratory\, a San Francisco historical landmark on Pier 45\, is dedicated to the memory of those who have lost their lives at sea. The Society of St. John the Apostle (founded 1992) operates as a Traditional Roman Catholic oratory independently of any diocese or other religious society.
