Our tour-guide led Mansion Tour takes guests through 110 of the 160 rooms of Sarah’s stately mansion covering the history and tales that give us our name. The mansion tour is approximately 65 minutes. This experience includes adding on self-guided access to both basements of the mansion —areas infamous for their reported paranormal activity. The basement self-guided experience lets you explore at your own pace, with guides on hand to share stories and answer questions along the way. Estimated bundled tour and basement experience is 80 minutes but can be less or more depending on how long you explore the basements. Limited time only, currently available until December 31, 2025.

A 65 minute guided tour through 110 of the 160 rooms. Guests will be able to see the infamous rooms of Sarah’s stately mansion, known around the world as the Winchester Mystery House®, and see the unique attributes that give the mysterious mansion its name. With the purchase of the Mansion Tour, access to the gardens is complimentary.

Due to the historic nature of the Winchester Estate, the Mansion Tour is not wheelchair accessible. An ADA Tour is available for guests on property with mobility issues. The ADA tour includes a video tour in one of the accessible garden buildings and the self-guided Sarah Winchester Garden Tour.

When reserving an ASL tour at the Winchester Mystery House, there are select dates each month when an interpreter is scheduled and available. Guests are more than welcome to book a daily Mansion Tour or Explore More Tour on any date and bring an interpreter for their visit. You will receive a complimentary ticket for the interpreter accompanying you.

Explore the stunning Victorian Gardens on our self-guided outdoor tour with a digital map. Please note that this tour does not include access inside the mansion. The grounds are wheelchair accessible, and are also complimentary with the purchase of another tour.

Unlock rare, behind-the-scenes passage to the highest and lowest reaches of the Mansion with Basement and Attic Access. Step beyond the main tour to areas few guests explore, continuing at your own pace as you ascend to the attic to discover hidden rooms and architectural secrets. Then, descend into the secluded basements, long associated with the mansion’s most mysterious and reported paranormal activity. Time estimate: 15-45 minutes. Available Now - September 7, 2026.

Add on exclusive self-guided access to not just one, but two basements of the mansion - areas infamous for their reported paranormal activity. Just steps away from the end of your mansion tour, descend into the shadows and discover the deepest, most intriguing corners of the house. This self-guided experience lets you explore at your own pace with guides on hand to share stories and answer questions along the way. Time estimate: 20-35 minutes, depending on how much—or how little—you choose to explore! Currently available until December 31, 2025.

In honor of America’s upcoming 250th birthday, join Winchester House Historian Janan Boehme for a presentation exploring the events, inventions, and social shifts that transformed America during Sarah Winchester’s lifetime - 1839 through 1922.

Experience an immersive night of magic and mind reading at the Winchester Mystery House. Led by a professional mentalist, this interactive performance blends illusion, intuition, and audience participation within one of the world’s most mysterious settings. Recommended for adults, suitable for ages 10 and up. Each ticket includes a one-hour magic show.

Join the Haunted Nights team - YouTube’s trusted paranormal investigators - for a rare chance to meet the crew and take part in a six-hour investigation inside Winchester Mystery House. This exclusive opportunity lets you spend the evening alongside the Haunted Nights team as you explore the mansion and participate in a hands-on investigation using a variety of ghost hunting equipment. Explore the mansion after dark during Halfway-To-Halloween with our Flashlight Tours. With only a flashlight to guide you, explore the mansion’s twisting corridors at your own pace. This exclusive experience includes areas off-limits on the Mansion Tour, allowing you to discover even more spaces.

Don’t miss Spirit Alley, a Halfway to Halloween Market Presented by Menagerie Oddities Market. Step into a marketplace of the strange and unusual, featuring small businesses, local makers, and curious finds.

Join Vogel Victorian on July 4th or 5th for a Summer garden tea party at the mansion. Start with a welcome spirit and photo ops, then enjoy potion-making, a Victorian-style séance, and a mini tour—ending with full tea service in Sarah Winchester’s garden. All hosted by the enchanting team of Vogel Victorian. Only ages 16+.
