Eugene O Neill Foundation Presents: Ah, Wilderness!O Neill s comedy of recollection Ah, Wilderness! is a story set over a Fourth of July weekend. The play contrasts with O Neill s usual grim dramas, depicting a loving family as 16-year-old Richard navigates young love, teenage rebellion, and small-town sensibilities. We welcome Director Titian Lish as she directs an engaging radio play format for this telling of O Neill s nostalgic imagined family.

More Than a Line Art ExhibitionThis summer, the Town of Danville invites the community to reconsider one of the most familiar creative tools through More Than a Line , a new exhibition at the Village Theatre Art Gallery. Centered on the simple pencil, the exhibition explores how a single medium can produce an extraordinary range of styles, textures, and expression.
Art in the Dark Art ExhibitionAs the days grow shorter, the Village Theatre Art Gallery will explore what happens when creativity meets light and shadow. Art in the Dark will feature two- and three-dimensional works that glow beneath black light, shine with LED illumination, and use light and shadow in unexpected ways.
Hearts of Danville Public Art SeriesHearts of Danville is a new temporary public art project that will bring creativity and vibrant seasonal energy to downtown in winter 2027. Running from January through March 2027, the project will feature sixteen tabletop-sized heart sculptures, each standing 17 inches tall and transformed by a local artist into a one-of-a-kind work of art. The completed sculptures will be displayed in community buildings and local businesses throughout Downtown Danville for all to enjoy.
