This is one of the toddy shops u c in Kottayam kumarakom road. I ordered grape toddy, fish items, duck, beef fry, kallappam, kappa and meals. Apart from the duck everything else we tried were tasting good. Their mussels fry and karimeen pollichatu was outstanding and was exploding with flavours. King fish tala curry was tasting average and the flesh felt stale. Beef fry tasted really good but most of the pieces were liver and fat. It really felt like a rip off. Then the duck was so bland that none of us liked it. Even the meals were wort the price. They have toomany places to improve. Lastly the toddy that was superb tasty and fresh. Thats is the only best thing i had from here. Located near kumarakom ppl will expect better quality food from a toddy shop. Then about the ambiance this place is sometimes stinky due to the nearby contaminated water. And the huts are just ok ok. Ample parking space is available and is family friendly.

We had porotta, appam, Kappa, karimeen pollichath and duck curry. We went for a lunch about 3 pm. Porotta and appam was not good. But Kappa and curries are super. Karimeen pollichath cost 400 per piece. But it is super. Kappa comes with a chillli gravy. That was also very nice. There are toilet inside. There are big dining table in the backyard. Best for side dishes than main dish
