Printed day permit needed to enter the park. There is no ticket kiosk available. The ranger was at the park entance but we were not allowed to just pay. We had to go to the website, create an account, pick the date and time, pay for a day pass, then go back to the entrance and show the reciept from our email confirmation. There are private houses prior to the ranger booth. The road is very narrow. Be careful driving as there are residences along the road. There are 2 parking areas and bathrooms. The first waterfall is about 5.minites walk from the parking area. The second water.fall "upper falls" is about 15-20 minutes walk. There are shaded areas along the path. I gave it 4 stars due to the reservation requirement.

Beautiful place to hike and camp. Well maintained, clean bathrooms and showers. The hike to the waterfall is easy enough for kids to enjoy. There are longer more difficult hikes there also with Beautiful views

Wonderful day at Uvas Canyon. The waterfalls which the park is known for were flowing well. Four named waterfalls are along the main trail or on short side trails. One other Lower Falls is just before the main trail and is definitely worth hiking to.
