Take a walk around the area, and you'll discover beautiful houses that are not publicly accessible, but are still very beautiful! There is free parking, and there is also paid parking in the nearby streets, about a couple of dollars for an hour and a half.

Pretty coloured houses which remind you of time gone by. If you have seen the sitcom Full/Fuller house, you would recognize these houses. Not a must do on your SF itinerary. The houses itself you will take 5 min to see but you can laze around for hours in the opposite Alamo park. The view of the city skyline is quite amazing from the park.
