Visited Patrika Gate after coming from Albert Museum Hall, and since it was a weekday with full traffic, it took me nearly 35 minutes to reach. I took an auto and it cost me around ₹150, which felt reasonable considering the distance and traffic. I went at night, and honestly, the moment I reached, everything felt worth it. The views are literally stunning at night. The lighting, the colors, and the symmetry of the gate make it a perfect place for photography. It’s one of those spots where every angle looks beautiful, especially after dark. You’ll notice local photographers approaching you—they usually charge around ₹20 per photo, and to be fair, they actually click really good pictures. If you want to capture the perfect spots and angles inside the gate, they do help a lot. More than just a photo spot, Patrika Gate truly conveys the real essence of Jaipur. It feels like a grand entrance to the city, reflecting its rich history, culture, and royal charm. The design, the artwork, and the way it stands proudly make you pause and admire Jaipur’s heritage.
