What an institution, I hope they never change. One of the last few places that really stand behind their products and let you return if you aren't happy with anything. Three levels of incredible inventory. The staff here are always so nice and helpful. The cafe upstairs is great for a little break from shopping. Dressing rooms are always super clean.

While shopping at another Nordstrom in Marin, we were told that the Walnut Creek location had the items we were looking for in stock, so we made the trip over. It was my first time visiting this branch, and I came away very impressed. The store is spacious, clean, and well-organized, with a strong selection across departments, making it easy to find what you need without feeling overwhelmed. The associates were attentive and eager to help without being pushy. They quickly assisted us in locating the items we came for and were knowledgeable about availability and options. The overall shopping experience felt smooth and efficient, and the pricing was consistent with what you’d expect from Nordstrom, fair, especially considering the level of service. This location is also an anchor store at Broadway Plaza, which is a great outdoor shopping center with a wide variety of stores and dining options. Parking is generally accessible with nearby garages, and the whole area is well-maintained and pleasant to walk through. If you’re planning a broader shopping trip in the East Bay, this Nordstrom is definitely worth a visit.

This is nawt a review for Nordstrom it’s a review for ✨José✨ from the dior makeup counter. What a nice human. Exemplary service and attention. I have never had someone take the time and care to actually help me color match and try to find products that genuinely work for me. He was so nice as me and my mother took forever as we were interested in buying a new base makeup routine. He was genuinely interested and caring in helping us find things that actually worked for us and was never pushy to sell something etc. He literally did a full face on both of us while assisting other clients and making other sales as well. He left no one unattended and was nice and friendly with everyone. PLUS he has amazing makeup skills. Literally the coolest eye look I’ve ever seen. 🩵 He deserves the best! Would come back just for him. Thank you Jose!
