The English Muffin sandwich was the star of the show here. The “classic” is good but the sausage variant is great, with a bit more salt to really take it over the edge with the pillowy English muffin dough. Not as hard to eat in the car on the way to vineyards as it looks. The scones are great too, particularly the apricot pecan. The coffee was not bad but feel free to avail yourself of Ritual next door in the Oxbow markets. On weekends ordering ahead is not a bad idea as not even the rain will deter the crowds from queuing for carbs.

Nothing to be said about atmosphere since it’s a take-out place. The service is a hit and miss when you come during rush hour. People come to Napa for the wines. I come to Napa for Model’s English muffin. They’re fluffy light, buttery and have very thin crispy crusts. The most expensive English muffins, since I can’t have too much of a good carbs, they’re worth the splurge.
