Mian Sichuan Noodles is a popular spot for authentic Sichuan cuisine, specializing in flavorful noodle dishes that pack a punch.
★★★★☆Came in on a Sunday evening. It felt packed for a Sunday, which I wasn't expecting. But there was very minimal wait. We started with the spicy woodear mushrooms. Not actually spicy, but really flavorful. The crispy Sichuan style chicken was solid too, paired very well with the pepper. For mains, the Sichuan cold chicken noodles were interesting. Tongue numbing but not spicy. Chicken portion felt a little skimpy though. The hot and sour wonton with chicken was the best thing I had the night. Rich chili oil, salty, sour and just really well-balanced. Decor is genuinely cool. Lots of murals, nice space to look at. The downside though is all the ordering is done through your phone, and once we were seated, staff didn't check in at all. Felt like we were on our own. The food is good enough to come back for, but the experience could be better.

★★★★☆Been to Mian twice now — once for a weekend lunch and once for a Friday dinner — and the noodle soups are the real draw. The broth is rich and flavorful, and I'm a fan of the round white noodles which have a great texture. The fries have a unique seasoning that I enjoyed, though they're on the oily side and almost $8 which feels steep. I'd go easy on the appetizers — they tend to be sweet and the beef roll was pretty small for the price. Ordering is through a QR code at the table which is convenient, though you still have to pay in person which feels like it should just be on the phone too. Staff are attentive and both times I walked in as a party of two and got seated immediately. Only downside is the seating — it can feel a bit cramped between tables or drafty if you're near the door. Easy parking if you use the structure right out front instead of circling the lot. Definitely coming back for the noodles

★★★☆☆The ambience of this restaurant was great and the staff was helpful and very attentive. My family and I were able to get a table pretty quickly and our waiteress helped us settle in pretty fast. We ordered and soon in ten minutes our food arrived very fast. We ordered the huaxing fried egg noodles, mapo tofu noodles (vegan),the sichuan cold noodles, and the chili oil wontons. We didn’t expect the sichuan cold noodles to be extremely sweet and it was hard to eat it with a weird sugary taste. It also had shreds of chicken which you can barely taste. The chili oil wontons were pretty good and you get five wontons for around $7. We ordered medium spicy on two of our dishes which didn’t even taste that spicy.
