This is a great little park to bring your children and have a fun afternoon. We stumbled upon this park when visiting the Sebastopol art center. You will find other school camps stopping here as well they do have slightly taller slides and smaller ones for younger children

Great park for decades! Love the shade trees strategically planted so even on very hot days, there is nice cool shade. With the creek running through out the park it offers a cool evaporative breeze. Excellent for baseball games, family birthday parties, playgrounds for little ones and dog friendly pathways winding throughout. Ives pool is there too!

Poor Sebastopol, trying to figure out what to do with Ives Park. It for sure needs some updates but one camp wants to restore the “creek” to a more “natural state” to include a beautiful but not very practical walking path that meanders through existing lawn spaces (sorry Peace Town) but considering how sad it has looked for the past 20-30 years, i can’t help but wonder how long these upgrades would last. Friends of Calder Creek The other camp has a far more (IMO) practical vision for the park with ingress upgrades to include handicap access, expanded snack shack for the baseball diamond, etc. Sebastopol Rotary.
