We stopped by Hog Island Oyster Co. inside the Oxbow Public Market to grab a bite before our 2:30 PM reservation at Domaine Carneros, and it ended up being the absolute best choice for lunch! They were packed and the service was a touch slow but the food completely made up for it. We ordered fresh oysters to share, a Po’Boy sandwich for my boyfriend (which came with delicious house-pickled veggies), and I decided on the grilled squid salad. The biggest surprise of the meal was definitely that salad! I’ll admit I almost had instant regret right after ordering it, but it completely exceeded my expectations. The fresh ingredients, perfectly grilled squid, and mushrooms tossed in a light dressing paired together amazingly well. It was light, flavorful, and exactly what I needed before an afternoon of wine tasting. Highly recommend ordering it! Hog Island has a great vibe inside the market, plus outdoor seating if you want to eat outside. Parking in the Oxbow lot can be a little tight since it's on the smaller side, but street parking is permitted nearby. If you’re in Napa and craving incredible seafood, definitely check Hog Island out!

Great seafood chain restaurant. They have some fresh oysters if you like it raw. However the grilled miso butter oysters are as delicious. Happy hour only happens during weekday Monday to Thursday 4-6pm. We got the mixed platter of oysters, grilled miso butter oysters, fried shrimps, clam chowder and fries. Everything was very delicious 10/10! Would definitely come back for happy hour soon!

Initially just going to order oysters both raw and grilled. Ended up getting drinks, poke and fries as well. We sat outside and enjoyed the atmosphere. We had a mix of oysters and you can actually taste the difference from each location. The poke and fries were great. Service was nice and efficient.
