Heather Farm Park is one of the best family-friendly spots in Walnut Creek. The playground is a big hit with kids, and there’s always a lively energy around the park. The lake and fountains add a peaceful touch, even if the Canadian geese sometimes rule the area. I really enjoy walking by the rose garden and seeing families spread out on the lawns for picnics, volleyball, and casual gatherings. It’s almost always busy, but in a good way — it feels vibrant, safe, and welcoming. Whether you’re bringing kids to play, meeting friends for a picnic, or just taking a stroll, this park has something for everyone.

They need to spray more for mosquitos. It is a infestation area when the sun goes down and there is no wind. Beautiful garden area. I wish they kept the walkways clean from the ducks pooping everywhere.

Heather Farm Park is beautiful.. the whole garden was filled with gorgeous flowers. Came here on a whim and fell inlove with it. Extremely peaceful, romantic place for couples and the scenery does not disappoint.. property was very east to find. I would definitely come here again during the summer as I think there would be plenty more flowers in bloom.
