This place is gorgeous and you can basically drive right up to it. We went in the winter so there was plenty of parking spaces and it appears to have plows because the lot was super clear of snow. The castle just puts you in awe, the view of the river was just beautiful and you can peek through some of the lower windows. Yours were not happening when we went but I would certainly go again, just to see the inside completely. Definitely worth a trip if you're in the area!

Available daily from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day, then weekends and holidays through Columbus Day. Holiday Tour Program offered Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Advance booking is strongly recommended.
Gillette Castle State Park River Camping$5/person/nightPrimitive, riverside campsite with a pit toilet, available for overnight stops by those traveling on the river. Campers must arrive and depart by boat (canoe or kayak only). 20-person maximum, maximum stay 1 day. No fires permitted, no mooring or docking facilities. Break camp by 9:00 a.m.
Wedding Ceremony on The Outdoor Terrace$285 (non-refundable, non-transferable fee)The outdoor terrace, with the Lower Connecticut River Valley as a scenic backdrop, is available to rent for small wedding ceremonies. Available from June through September, on Saturdays only, at 10:00 a.m. or 5:30 p.m. Includes use of the terrace for one-half hour, 20 chairs, lectern, extension cord, and maximum 3 vehicles allowed up the driveway. Guest list must be 50 people or less. No facilities inside the castle are provided. Rehearsal can be arranged on the Friday before the ceremony.
