Just went here on June 12, 2026 as I LOVE garlic ice cream. We bought some other products too and I didn’t realize until we got home (3 hours away!) that some of the products were already past their “best by” date!! The elderly lady behind the counter was also rude. Take your money to Garlic World or one of the other garlic stores in the area. This one isn’t worth it.

I don’t know about anyone else’s negative experiences but I ordered a small garlic braid, which I’m sure came from Christopher Ranch down the road, but want to add my 2 cents! Order arrived on time as promised. I was excited, as I have never had real American garlic. It’s crazy because I lived in Morgan Hill, not too far from Gilroy while I was traveling with my job, and I passed this store so many times but never went inside!! Darn it! I do love the look of the shop though! The heart is cute! As you can see, the cloves are huge! That garlic braid gave me a bunch of garlic to last me several months! It was so pretty when I got it too. I could picture some sweet lady sitting at a table, taking her time and putting the bulbs just like so, going from small to bigger. Thank you!! 🩷
