Originally intending to go to a burrito place nearby I saw the Google reviews for Entre Comales and knew I had to try their pupusas. My absolute favorite pupusa is loroco and theirs was a standout winner! I also ordered the jalapeño and cheese pupusa and was pleasantly surprised that they had grilled the jalapeños before adding it to the filling. Their curtido, a traditional slaw that comes with pupusas, was off the charts. It wasn’t vinegary, the vegetables were crisp and I loved the jalapeños in there for added heat. I mentioned that I intended to buy a burrito for a later meal and the owner, Jorge, insisted that Entre Comales had the best burrito around. Btw, get the carne asada burrito. Jorge wasn’t lying. Their carne is seasoned and seared perfectly. The meat didn’t look like it had been sitting around like at some nearby spots. And they have orange sauce, too!! Jorge put a darker orange sauce in my burrito bag and it cleared out my stuffy nose and made colors a little brighter for about five minutes. I can’t wait to try more of your food, Jorge. This place is awesome! Delicious and made with high quality ingredients. Food is always bussin’ their most popular item is the pupusas. They have a great variety of options to choose from. Their salsas are also authentic and spicy. They got a wonderful range of salsas and have mild if you don’t like your food too spicy. Friendly, welcoming, and customer oriented staff. Lovely family owned business! I love this place! I love supporting local small family brick and mortar places like this!

I had 2 pupusas 🫓, $5 each. I had the chicken and cheese and loroco and cheese. The curtido was good, the mild sauce was very mild, but still good. I would like to go back to try the bean & cheese and a sope. I just wish the staff was friendlier and more inviting. I waited a few minutes before someone knew I was there, but it’s ok, it gave me a chance to decide what I wanted, but it would’ve been nice to be acknowledged upon entering.
