This Inner Sunset spot is a go-to for plant-based Chinese cuisine, with regulars often praising the friendly service, especially compared to other locations. Many reviewers highlight the impressive variety of mock-meat and faux-fish options. If you're looking for a satisfying vegan meal, try their 'chicken' chow mein or the fried tofu with peppers, both frequently mentioned as standouts.

THIS LOCATION IS AMAZING HOLY MOLY
I had only ever gone to the Chinatown location until yesterday when I went here.
So much more friendly here, like night and day difference. The older lady at the Chinatown location is mean but here it was a young man and another lady with shorter hair and they were so nice! I had given up on the other location but am so pleased to know I can still get amazing food and with a smile not a scolding look the entire time 😅
I got the string beans and chicken w/ black bean sauce, bbq pork, and orange chicken to bring home to my girl. Everything was outstanding. First time trying black bean sauce and I loved it.

Ate at this restaurant years ago when it first opened up, have always liked it. But based on my experience with the food delivery in the recent few years, I have become very disappointed with Enjoy Vegetarian Restaurant in Sunset.
One thing to note beforehand is that nobody at the restaurant ever picks up the phone, and there is no voicemail either. So if you want to make a reservation on the phone or want to talk to someone in the restaurant, good luck!
While the dishes are good in general, the quality is very inconsistent. For example, I once ordered the Braised Spareribs w/Dai Kon. It was awesomely delicious. Then, when I ordered it again the following week, it was horrible--the white radish were only half cooked, and the big chunks of carrots were so hard that I could tell they were only cooked for less than 10 minutes, both were tasteless. Maybe they have to regularly demonstrate that they only use fresh ingredients?
They used to make the tofu in-house. But nowadays, most of the tofu in various dishes taste like commercially made--dry and hard.
All in all, even if they won an award in 2017, for sure this location no longer lives up to that standard.

Great spot for all vegan cuisine. Ordered the Fried Tofu with Peppers as an appetizer. Came out crispy and piping hot. Then ordered ‘chicken’ chow Mein as my main course. Food was fresh and well flavored, not heavy and very filling. Would dine here again when in San Francisco.
