This upscale restaurant offers just enough variety in starters, salads, and entrees to bridge traditional offerings with fusion versions. The home crafted burrata is creamy with a nice shell and the high quality olive oil was great with the crostini. The paella has just been shifted from entree to starter. The mussels and large shrimp are flavorful but the chorizo seems to override the rice flavor. Argentina steak with chimichurri is excellent served with crisp fries. The fish is prepared well. We loved the molten chocolate cake for our dessert birthday The full bar offers a selection of liquors and two wine racks on the walk to the restroom. Elegant upscale decor with low lights and moderate level rock music. This michelein restaurant is located within the Best Western hotel. Accessible restrooms for men and for women with dedicated stall with 2 grab bars and 5ftx 5 ft space Free van accessible parking in lot shared with hotel. Curb cuts. Some spots Re marked for hotel. We parked in one of those with no problem.

A truly memorable dining experience worth coming back for. Parking can be a bit challenging because the area gets very busy, so reservations are highly recommended. Inside, the atmosphere feels refined yet welcoming, and every staff member we interacted with was genuinely friendly and attentive. We started with the Classic Caesar, and the freshness of the lettuce was outstanding. The subtle hint of anchovy added a beautiful depth of flavor. The Carbonara was another highlight — the crispy pancetta and generous shaving of Parmigiano Reggiano were a perfect match. It’s a simple, classic dish, but they execute it with a level of skill that’s not easy to replicate. The Bone-in Pork Milanese was exceptional. The pork was incredibly tender, and the coating was thin and perfectly crisp, creating a wonderful contrast in texture. ASA is absolutely a place I want to revisit, and I can’t wait to try more dishes on their menu. Highly recommend!

We had the most magical evening dining at Asa Restaurant. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a lovely service team that made us feel right at home. The dining experience was impressively tasteful, with each detail thoughtfully curated to enhance our evening. At times, out of respect for our newly met friends, I refrained from taking out my phone to snap photos of the food, which is something I usually do. However, when the second course arrived, I couldn’t resist capturing the delightful meals we were enjoying. We even wondered aloud if Asa might be a Michelin-starred restaurant that we hadn’t heard of, given the exceptional quality of the dishes. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the truffle mushroom slice (though I couldn’t recall the exact description and unfortunately didn’t get a photo). It was incredibly fresh and bursting with umami flavor. For my main course, I opted for the sustainable tuna, which I requested to be cooked well-done. It was prepared just the way I like it—flaky and flavorful. I typically don’t enjoy dishes that are overly sauced, as some meals simply don’t pair well with their accompaniments. However, Asa’s head chef and the team managed to present everything beautifully, with flavors that danced harmoniously on the plate. Another standout dish was the double-cut pork chop, which was nothing short of insane! It was juicy, tender, and seasoned to perfection. Now, whenever we crave a delectable pork chop, Asa in Los Gatos will be our go-to destination. 🍷🍷🍷 Overall, our experience was nothing short of extraordinary, and we can’t wait to return! 👍😋😊
